The Advantages And Disadvantages of Being a Cheapskate

Being financially disciplined is a good thing. It keeps you away from bad things associated with finances such as debts; it also gives you that sense of freedom knowing that you don’t owe anyone anything, all that you have is in your possession.

It rightfully belongs to you, you sleep better at night because there are some people out there who are forever in debts, and they have to make loans just to afford a living. As soon as their money resides on their account, it becomes swooped clean because they have to pay for all the things that they owe.

There are other people who live on the other side of finance reality and spending as a whole and the formal term to describe these kinds of people is CHEAPSTAKES, it is not such a bad title if it really works to your advantage and keeps you away from financial crisis.

These are the kind of people who don’t mind re-using a tea bag more than twice just to cut some costs. They don’t spend money on unnecessary things, there is a good side to it and a bad side to it just like everything else.

I won’t deny the fact that it keeps you on the good side of finances but it also has the power to imprison you from your own financial freedom, the very same freedom you fight for on daily basis when you wake up and go to work or do anything that’s generates income and keep the flow of living going well

Extreme cheap-stakes sometimes take extreme measures; we see all these television programs where the lives of such people are put on display. There are instances where a family travels and to cut costs for luggage they have to wear half of the clothes they are traveling with and put a few on luggage bags, it sure sounds like a wise thing to do but there is that dark side of it that strips you off your freedom and comfort. Imagine how discomforting it would be sitting on a bus wearing half your luggage in a hot summer.

Being a cheapskate is a way of life and can save money for those who are knowledgeable. Although the life of a cheapskate is not a glamorous one, it can still be considered a rewarding one.
