Fifi Cooper Talks About Her Image And Strives For Originality

Female rap sensation Refilwe Mooketsi who is popularly known as Fifi Cooper talks about her image. Just a little insight, Fifi started her music career as an R&B singer before her musical versality saw her release her breakthrough rap single “Chechella Morao” in 2010.

Earlier last year, Fifi Cooper received the not-much-needed advice from the Twitter fashion police saying that her fashion sense came under fire. She has now switched from being a tomboy to being a lady. Fifi said that she has always felt comfortable in what she wore and that the way she dressed when she came into the industry was inspired by growing up with two boys. “I saw Aaliyah and she had a tomboy look, so I thought I was cool” said Fifi. She further added that she gets lot of hate because people expect her to wear miniskirts and shorts just because she is girl

She also said that people think being half naked is what actually sells, but she doesn’t feel pressured at all. “All my fans loved me the way i was before and the reason our relationship is still so strong is because I am still that same person they fell in love with from day one” said the rap sensation. She went on to explain that staying original is the best thing you can do for yourself and that if you change with time you will end up losing yourself.

She concluded by saying that if she feels that she wants to look sexy, she’ll wear a dress if she wants to, but looks don’t really matter that much, it’s the music that matters.
