Gail Mabalane Recalls The Moment When She Was Crowned Miss Kaizer Chiefs

Gail Nkoane was born and raised in the town of Kimberley, Northern Cape in South Africa. Most of us will know Gail Nkoane as Lelo Sedibe, a fashion editor in Mnets soap opera, The Wild. Gail, who was born and Bloemfontein and raised in Kimberly is on her way up in the world. In addition to a growing career in acting, she also runs her own events company with her father. One may begin to ask how much more this 27- year –old can take on.

The answer to that is a singing career, which is waiting in the wings in the form of a debut album. After both her mother and brother passed away, within just six months of each other, Gail promised herself that she would seize every opportunity to work towards goals she was passionate about. Beginning her career in modelling early on, Gail moved from strength to strength. Placing in the top five of Miss SA Teen in 2001, First-Runner –Up in the Miss Black Like Me competition and Miss Kaizer Chiefs also in 2001.

The kick off to Gail’s music career came in 2010 during the sixth season of South African Idols where she placed in the top 14. Other career highlights for Gail include a role in Zion, a big screen African dance film and swiftly moving on to the second season of The Wild which has proven itself to be a hit among South African soapie lovers. With a promising public career, now spanning over 10 years, Gail Nkoane is most definitely not a South African Celeb to second guess.

Not much has changed in the last 15 years. She’s still considered to be one of the most gorgeous women in Mzansi.

Gail took to Instagram today to reminisce about the moment when she was crowned Miss Kaizer Chiefs. It’s  clear which team she is still routine for.
