Hulisani Ravele’s Latest Picture Has Many Wondering If She Is Now A Traditional Healer. One thing about Hulisani Ravele, she is big on anything that honors and celebrates culture as well as tradition. Be it Heritage Day, Ancestor Day, or anything that has something to do with her embracing her origins.

In the past couple of days, the talented media personality and entrepreneur has been talking about the importance of Ancestor Day. The inaugural Ancestors Day, is a collective initiative by Castle Milk Stout and HRH Zolani Mkiva, who recognized that our national calendar and commemorations exclude African spirituality. A year ago, they called for the government to dedicate the 8th May to be recognized as an Ancestors Day as well as a public holiday.

Although the day is not as popular as other annual holidays, the likes of Hulisani are doing all they can to educate the masses about it. She even shared an article from GQ Magazine, where those interested can read more about its origins.

Hulisani also shared a video in which she was dressed in a traditional healing garb while praying by the side of a riverbank. The attire, as well as praying by the river side, is normally associated with traditional healers. This led to man wondering if she has joined the growing number of celebrities who have answered their ancestral calling.

I am an African.
I owe my being to the hills and the valleys, the mountains and the glades, the rivers, the deserts, the trees, the flowers, the seas and the ever-changing seasons that define the face of our native land.โ€

”We pray, we phahla, siyaphalaza. These are our African ways, the ways of our people. We remember them, we honour them. Happy #AncestorsDay. ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’ซ,” Hulisani captioned her picture.
