Nonhle Thema On Her 2011 Twitter Meltdown Which Almost Ruined Her Entertainment Career

Back in 2011, she was constantly on our radar after her Twitter meltdown. Soon Nonhle Thema became synonymous with Sit Down and Boom! Since then, she’s been in the spotlight for her love life and of course, becoming a mom. And Nonhle has successfully turned her life around becoming one of the most inspirational women in SA with a deep story to tell about her life.

At the height of her career, Nonhle was the host of O-Access, a show which saw her travelling around the globe to meet the biggest names in the entertainment industry, such as 50Cent, Pharrell, Trey Songs and many more.

While many would do almost anything to have a job like that, Nonhle revealed that it made her lose touch with the ground under her feet.

“I was living a life that was a dream. I wasn’t even living a life that was a reality,” she explained to Anele.

“The life that I was living, the things that were happening in my life, like travelling overseas where you’re not paying, meeting people, it’s not normal. There was a point I didn’t know who I am, I didn’t who I was anymore. I am now a human being, and I am now humbled, because I know life now. I know life is not living in America, and interviewing 50cent, because there was a time I thought that was life. That is not life.”
