DJ Tira Takes Legal Steps Against Sexual Assault Allegations. He has been on headlines since last week after rape accusations were leveled against him. DJ Tira however remained silent, and went on about his business.

A week ago, a musician Luke Ntombela, took to social media with claims that Tira might have sexually assaulted her. She stated that she met Tira on the set of the Mzansi Magic show Clash of the Choirs, and he asked her out, but she turned him down. To her shock, she woke up in his bed, all blacked out. Tira allegedly continued touching her inappropriately.

“I hear you saying this and that about witchcraft; how do you explain the pain of waking up in someone’s bed when you’re blacked out? That person continues touching you as if you are lovers,” she said.

Luke also said she has been diagnosed with depression, suffered humiliation, and is still struggling to get closure about what happened. She also added screenshots of WhatsApp conversations, presumably between herself and DJ Tira.

Everyone has limits, and we guess DJ Tira has reached his. The multi-award winning DJ, music producer and businessman has now broken his silence. Taking to social media, his legal team Khathi and Mkhize Attorneys, asked Luke to retract all her statements on TikTok, Facebook and the recent Ukhozi FM interview. She has also been asked to apologize via the same platforms that she used. All this must be done within 7 days. Failure to do so, a legal redress against her, will be taken. This is all done to protect DJ Tira’s reputation.
