SA Celebs Nominated For Awards At The E! People’s Choice Awards 2020. Once again the prestigious awards have a category for our African stars- African Social Star of 2020. In 209, Bonang Matheba made history as the first ever winner of E! People’s Choice: African Influencer Of The Year Award.
This year, once again, South Africa stands a good chance of bringing another E! People’s Choice home. Eight stars across the continent have been nominated for the African Social Star of 2020.
In the race to be crowned the African Social Star of 2020 from South Africa is social media star and model Karl Kugelmann, BET award winning rapper, Sho Madjozi, International Emmy Award nominee, Thuso Mbedu, magician and TikTok star Wian van den Berg and reigning Miss Universe Zozi Tunzi.
Other nominees on the category are, Nigerian YouTube phenomenon Dimma Umeh, Kenyan comedian and internet sensation Elsa Majimbo and African Movie Academy Award winning actress Lydia Forson from Ghana.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, has also been nominated for the The Nighttime Talk Show of 2020 award.
The E! People’s Choice Awards will be broadcast on Sunday 15 November, starting with Live From The Red Carpet at 02:00 and the ceremony at 04:00. The ceremony will be repeated the following day on Monday 16 November at 9:30. Only on E!
