Thembi and Theo Express Gratitude As Boom Shaka Gets Honored. It’s always a beautiful thing to receive your flowers while still alive. Bathu Sneakers, recently honored some of our legendary musicians, and it was so heartwarming to witness.

The multi award winning brand hosted an intimate dinner in Houghton, honoring Kwaito legends for all their contributions as the pioneers of Kwaito in the 90s and early 2000. The legends that were honored include DJ Christos, Boom Shaka, Trompies, Zola 7, KB Motsilanyane, Tamara Dey, Bongo Maffin, 999 and Spikiri. Award winning musician, and media personality, Nandi Madida was the host with the most.

Thembi Seete of Boom Shaka fame has taken to Instagram to appreciate the honor. The award winning actress, TV personality and musician is touched by the gesture.

She also thanked among others Bathu SA, Tastic Rice and Nandi. Thembi also congratulated fellow legends Trompies on their latest- sneaker line called, Ndofaya.

On his part, Theo expressed how special the night was. The musician and entrepreneur also acknowledged other legends.
