Just like many infleuncers Mr Smeg found fame on Twitter through his posts. At first when he started posing with the luxury Smeg Kettle on every photo, many people got annoyed. They labelled him as a show off, while some though he is just seeking attention in the lamest way. But guess what, Michael went on to become a powerful influencer, thanks for not succumbing to all that negativity. He event attracted such big brands like Mercedes Benz, who worked with him on advert for their dealership in Sandton.
It is not quite clear what Mr Smeg does for a living, but he is a qualified electrical engineer. He graduated with a Diploma from Buffalo City College and did Mechatronics Engineering at the VW Learning Academy. In 2014, he worked as a Technician in East London and moved to Tshwane in 2018. In 2020, he revealed in one interview that he was an Engineering Systems Analyst working for a large automotive company.
Whatever it is he does for a living, it’s making him live this soft life. Mr Smeg this morning took his mother by surprise when gifted her, a whooping R20k. He also showed off his remaining balance, which is close to half a million rands.
“Gifted my mother with 20k this morning,” Mr Smeg said.
