Shudufhadzo Musida to Moderate An International TEDx Event. She continues to use her platform to positively impact the lives of others and raise awareness of key topics. Shudufhadzo Musida has graced both local and international stages for great courses.

The Miss South Africa 2020, model, TV personality and UNFPA’s Regional Champion has been invited to the Africa Food Systems Forum 2023 Summit. The summit will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She will moderate a session that explores the power of agriculture to create positive social change and address pressing societal challenges. It brings together CEOs, impact investors, and social entrepreneurs to discuss the various ways in which agriculture can contribute to social impact, including poverty alleviation, gender equality, rural development, and environmental sustainability.

The session aims to foster collaboration and inspire agripreneurs to develop innovative business models that prioritize both profit and positive social outcomes, creating a sustainable and inclusive agricultural sector in Africa.

The conversation will be between 4 Africa Youth led SMEs and leaders. They are Ms. Emmastella Gakuo, COO, Savannah Circuit, Kenya, Ms. Seynabou Dieng, Founder & CEO, MAYA, Mali, Ms. Shandini Naidoo, Avoport, Founder & Director, South Africa and Ms. Charlotte Binya, Founder, Women in Africa, Cameroon.

TEDx is a grassroots initiative created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover ideas worth spreading. TEDx will bring the spirit of TED to AGRF local communities around the globe through TEDx events. It seeks to uncover new ideas and share the latest research in local areas, that spark conversations on Food Systems Transformation. Seven African youth leaders, including young women will tell their stories on transforming food systems on the continent.
