Nina Hastie Celebrates 6 Years Of Sobriety. Talk about consistency. Nina Hastie is a true example that if you put your heart to it, you can achieve it. The media personality and comedian celebrates her 6th year of not touching alcohol.

Although she still labels herself an alcoholic, Nina hasn’t touched alcohol in years. It hasn’t been easy, but personalities like Nina are truly inspirational. The entertainment industry is marred with drugs and alcohol, and many use them as a coping mechanism.

Many of our stars have even resorted to suicide due to the pressures of the industry and their own personal problems. How refreshing it is when some like Nina conquer these problems and become exemplary.

I’m learning every day, and I’m learning to forgive myself as well, i have made some enormous mistakes in life – but I’ve also made some enormous giant fucking leaps of growth and also hopefully inspired the shit out of some people – and shown you that you can actually be better!
