10 Things You Didn’t Know About Themba Ntuli

25-year-old Themba Ntuli (also known as Themba Mncube) is a South African actor best known for his recurring role as young car guard Pule, who was adopted by Kilowatt Club owner Suffocate (Mduduzi Mabaso), on the e.tv soapie Rhythm City, from May to June, 2008.

Here are 10 things you probably didn’t know about the talented young man:

1. Themba began acting while he was at Primrose Primary School. He played Lord Farquaad in a school production of Shrek and that’s when the acting bug really caught.

2. Themba credits his parents Kenneth and Nokuthula Ntuli for making him the grounded and responsible person that he is today.

3. He has  two younger brothers, Zathemba and Msizi .

4. The aspiring film maker counts Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolen as just some of his favourite Directors.

5. He is also known for his roles in television commercials for Sunlight and SABC2.

6. Thembalethu grew up in Ekhuruleni on the East Rand and attended school in Germiston. He has been acting since primary school and took drama classes from Grade 8 to 10.

7. He starred in a brand campaign for SABC2 in 2008.

8. In 2015 he landed the starring role of Cuba in the eKasi+ / e.tv sitcom B&B.

9. He is a Freelance Actor, Writer and Director at MLA

10. Themba holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Directing, Writing and Television Production
