As the only son, and the eldest to two sisters, Da Carpo is clearly valued in his family. His mom sacrificed a lot to make a better future for her son. He spoke about how she even got into debts so she could pay for his varsity school fees. Da Capo then dropped out of media school doing third year and he concentrated on his music. This obviously did nit sit well with his mommy.

Just like many parents out there, Da Capo’s mum wasn’t that sold on his choice of career. Funny enough, back in the day her mom was a Jazz dancer. Maybe her reservations were because she knew how brutal the industry can be. Thank God his uncles were already fans by then, which probably gave hm the courage to continue. As time went on, mommy dearest could see that his son is going places as a DJ.

For his first big pay cheaque, Da Capo decided to do something major for his mother. As a token of appreciation for everything his mom did for her, Da Carpo bought her a car.
