“It’s Everything I Needed for Transformation in 2022,” Keke Mphuthi on Her New Role. There are actors out there who are versatile enough to kill any role given to them. One of those is Keke Mphuthi, who is undoubtedly one of the best actresses to ever grace our TV screens.
Although Keke is the girl that she thinks she is when it comes to acting, her new role has taken her out of her comfort zone. The talented actress has been cast on new Mzansi Magic drama, Umbuso. Keke hasn’t revealed her character or said much about her, other than that she is different and is everything that she needed for her transformation this year.
Umbuso tells a story about street-smart businessman, Ma E (Sibiya) and people’s politician, Tiny (Ndebele), two old comrades determined to secure a post-struggle legacy for themselves and their families. Other cast members include Lillian Dube, Bheki Sibiya, Sandile Mahlangu, Mzwandile Ngubeni, Zinzi Zungu, Christopher Jafta, Makhaola Ndebele and Omuhle Gela.
We definitely can’t wait for Umbuso, which is premiering on the 3rd of April at 20h00.
