DJ Bongz Offers R10 000 Reward For His Stolen Phone

While DJ Bongz was busy entertaining fans who were taking videos and pictures of him doing his famous gwaragwara dance in Pretoria, someone pickpocketed him off his cellphone. The Ofana Nawe hitmaker had just finished playing his set at Topflo Prestige nightclub when the incident took place two weeks ago. Now the award-winning DJ, real name, Bongani Dlamini, is offering R10 000 for the iPhone 6.

BONGZ

DJ Bongz wrote on his Facebook page: Anyone who can return my phone, I’ll give them R10 000. I have songs I have composed on that phone and lots of important information. I won’t ask any questions, I just need the phone. Thanks.

“The phone was taken from Bongz’s pocket after he had just finished playing his set. He was taking videos and pictures with a group of fans when someone pickpocketed him,” said his PR manager Lindo “Dogg” Buthelezi.

He said the Mabala Noise artist is willing to pay R10 000 to anyone who will return his cellphone.

“There were some great melodies that Bongz had composed and stored on the phone which he dearly wants.

“They were not stored anywhere else but on the cellphone. His laptop was broken when he composed the melodies. That’s why he only stored them on the phone. He’s willing to pay for the return of the phone,” he said.
