10 Things You Didn’t Know About Zwelethu Nkutsho Who Plays Advocate Pule On Muvhango

After seeing his muscles, many ladies promised to be loyal viewers of Muvhango, if it meant seeing the gorgeous Zwelethu “Zweli” Nkutsho every night. Zweli, who is best known for his advocate role, Pule Mapetla, on the soapie drama is a Jack of all trades and he is going places.

1.This young man, who grew up in Alexandra, has starred in the popular SABC2 soap Muvhango since November last year.

2. He stars as advocate Pule Mapetla, who is a good friend of James Motsamai, played by Dingaan Mokebe.
Zweli and Dingaan are best friends off screen too.

3. He started acting when he was in Grade 2 after he realised that he could keep himself out of trouble by acting.

4. His music coach encouraged him to join The Lion King musical cast.  And he introduced him to scriptwriter, producer and director Duma Ndlovu.

5. Ndlovu was convinced by Zweli’s talent for acting and singing. He was then chosen to be part of the musical in 2005 and his first performances were in Australia and China.

6. When he returned to South Africa in 2008 he joined the SABC as a sports presenter.

7. After that he landed the role of advocate Pule Mapetla in Muvhango.

8. His major career challenge is staying healthy all the time.

9. When he is not acting, he is a voice-over artist and still appears on SABC Sport as a presenter.

10. Zweli also joined Metro FM in April this year as a newsreader on weekends.
