She is an actress, known for Operation Delta Force (1997), Egoli: Place of Gold (1991) and Honeytown II (1994). With a career spanning 23 years, Natasha Sutherland is one of SA’s most versatile actresses. She began her career at 19 and has played diverse roles, from being a rock star to a gypsy and now a mother on Scandal!.

1.Natasha Sutherland was born on November 20, 1970 in Durban, South Africa.

2. Natasha Sutherland began her career in the early 1990’s as presenter of children’s show Kideo.

3. She then joined the cast of the soapie, Egoli, launching her acting career. This led to other shows such as the now defunct, The Wild and more recently, Scandal.

4. Off camera, Sutherland has worked as editor of Finesse Magazine. She also writes books and does public speaking.

5. Natasha married actor and singer, Steve Hofmeyer in 1998 and had two sons. They are currently divorced.

6. Sutherland is currently the Brand Ambassador for the proudly South African Beauty brand Placecol and Dream Nails and Body.

7. Natasha Sutherland has been a part of the South African TV and theatre industry for 23 years

8. She rebounded (after her divorce) with a book, ‘Bittersweet’, which detailed the personal toll that her divorce took on her. It was well received and touched many readers. She is now back with a follow up, ‘Fairytale.
