Thando Thabethe Celebrates A Month Anniversary On 947. Time flies when you are having fun. Just the other day, Thando Thabethe joined the 947 family. The talented actress and media personality, was part of the new addition to the station when they reshuffled their lineup a month ago. Thando joined the team as the official drive time host of “947 Drive with Thando”, weekdays from 15:00 – 19:00. She replaced veteran broadcaster DJ Fresh, whose contract was ended.

Although it has just been a month, 947 Drive with Thando show has positioned itself as one of the most prominent drive time shows in the country. Thando presents the show with her equally talented co-host Alex Caige, who previously hosted, Daybreak with Alex Caige on the station. Daybreak with Alex Caig catered for the 5am Club, those people who are awake at 5 in the morning, getting a head start on the day. Thando and Alex, hit if off from start on their new show, and today they are celebrating their milestone.
