Marketing Assistant: Insurance
 
An exciting vacancy has become available for a self motivated, energetic and driven individual within the Insurance Department of TFG Financial Services.
 
The main purpose of the job is to assist and co-ordinate the portfolio’s marketing/product initiatives, provide administrative support and assist customers’ with product related queries in line with relevant legislative requirements
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
Providing assistance in the co-ordination, capturing and reporting of budgets and invoices, and payments
Ensure effective co-ordination, distribution and accurate record keeping of all product documents, product information and customer information
Assist in collating and maintenance of databases and the relevant filing system,
Compiling reports and presentations using the applicable IT applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ensure that the applicable communication is distributed to new/existing members and relevant stakeholders
Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation (e.g. POPI, FAIS, NCA, CPA, etc.)
Providing excellent customer service on in order to resolve internal and external customer queries and disputes
Assist in the co-ordination of direct marketing campaigns (Telemarketing, SMS, email, post, etc.)
Effective co-ordination of the portfolios marketing initiatives including the distribution of promotional material and advertising/marketing material
Assist with the co-ordination of digital initiatives – websites, e-mailers, etc.
Co-ordination of meetings and Telemarketing events in line with the relevant budget
Various ad hoc support/administrative duties.

 

To apply you need to have:
Matric
A business or related qualification (advantageous)
1-2 years business administration experience (Marketing experience advantageous)
Knowledge of Insurance products and relevant legislation (e.g. FAIS, Insurance Acts, POPI, etc.)
Excellent organisational and co-ordinating skills
High attention to detail
Strong numerical abilty
Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills [verbal and written] with a high level of customer service
The ability to work in a highly pressurized and deadline driven environment
The ability to effectively problem solve
Computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Intermediate to Advanced)
The ability to work independently as well as in a team
Eager and be committed to continuous learning
The ability to speak one of the following strongly preferred: Xhosa, Sesotho or Zulu
Preference will be given , but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
