Jub Jub Gets Stabbed In Prison By Fellow Inmates

It is reported that the rapper was stabbed and assaulted after an argument broke out between him and another inmate during a soccer tournament that was held at the prison. Convicted hip-hop artist Jub Jub was allegedly embroiled in a sparring match at Leeuwkop Prison on Sunday, leaving him with stab wounds on his stomach and thighs.

Explaining how the squabble started, the local publication’s insider said: “Jub Jub gave his fellow prisoner a parcel to keep for him as he was busy discussing something with other inmates. When Jub Jub asked for the parcel to be handed back to him by a fellow prisoner, an argument ensued.”

“They started shoving each other and later fists flew. In the process, Jub Jub was stabbed with a handmade knife. He was stabbed on his stomach and thighs,” the source further revealed, adding that “he was nearly slaughtered.”

Jub Jub who has served half of his 8-year jail sentence is eligible for parole and an early release next year. The rapper was jailed for crashing his car into a group of school kids in 2012.

According to Sunday World, Correctional Services spokesperson Singabakho Nxumalo confirmed the award winning musician will be considered for parole in December.
