Although it’s a niche market, the award winning DJ is not bothered by the growing number of upcoming female DJ’s.

In fact Zinhle has taken it upon herself to be there for those who want to explore the industry. “I’ve been a DJ for 15 yrs and finally the industry is growing and growing fast. I pray that every girl who joins understands that this is an industry of girls who support each other,” she said.

In any growing industry, those established might feel threatened by new talent and start looking down on them. That is not the case with Zinhle though. Analyzing things she said, “it just means we have built something so solid that other girls are starting to recognize the opportunity.”
