NSFAS: Scholarship Programme 2016

Closing Date: 30 November 2015

The applications for funding are currently open for students wishing to study at selected public universities and TVET colleges.

Grade 12 learners and students can now logon the NSFAS website www.nsfas.org.za to apply and submit applications.

NSFAS Spokesperson, Kagisho Mamabolo said, “in 2014, we focused more on testing and improving the Student Centered-Model. The results were positive, hence we are implementing the model.

It is the future of NSFAS. It has changed how NSFAS interacts with beneficiaries and will in future assist in tracing them once they complete their studies and start working.

“We request applicants to provide us with supporting documents, full and accurate information to avoid rejection of applications.

We hope the new funding model will change their lives for the better by creating an effective and efficient access to higher education,” he explained.
