Berita Wins Songwriter Of The Year
Gold selling, award winning artist, Berita, has added another accolade to her name as she won Songwriter of The Year at the annual Wawela Music Awards that took place last Friday at Monte Casino in Fourways, Johannesburg.
Berita won this award for her first album, Conquering Spirit, which features hit singles such as Thandolwethu (Our Love).
“I am so grateful. I know from the bottom of my heart it’s well deserved because of the work I put into my music. Now that I have got a stamp of approval as a songwriter, I will be writing more and exploring the different avenues of song writing” shares Berita.
Berita debuted a new music video this past Friday for her single, Sukundixhesha, on Mzansi Magic music channel. The music video is currently on high rotation since its first play last week Friday. It will start playing on other channels this week.
