Statement! Ntsiki Mazwai on Why She Asked for R70 000 From Podcast and Chill with MacG. Is this the case of everyone having a price, or it’s one of those publicity stunts to attract viewers. Well, one would never really know the truth, as everyone is saying their side of the story as they see it. It seems like Ntsiki Mazwai and MacG will never be the best of friends looking at the jabs they keep on throwing at each other.

Ntsiki has openly shared her views on several episodes that have aired on Podcast and Chill with MacG. The poet, musician and TV personality recently slammed MacG for his interview with American singer, Arie Lennox. In the interview, MacG asked the Arie who she was currently sexually involved with and she did not take it lightly.

About a week ago, MacG dropped a bombshell when he said Ntsiki asked him for a whopping R70k just to appear as a guest on his podcast. The controversial podcaster said this happened after he asked Ntsiki to join him on the podcast to discuss the Ari issue but was shocked to hear that Ntsiki wanted to be paid R70 000 just to appear as a guest.

Ntsiki has now decided to set matters straight on the R70k issue, via an official statement. She stated her disappointments over MacG is using a private conversation for his own personal gain. Ntsiki said the money discussed, was to help pay for her legal bills, and the team made it cleat that they wanted to help her. She said that, when the deal wasn’t coming together, she was insulted via WhatsApp, and they decided to frame her.

Ntsiki has thus apologized to the public for the false narrative created about her. She assured gender based violence victims that she will never use their pain for her own personal gain.
