TELKOM PEOPLE Telkom Bursaries and School Grants Further your career with a Telkom Bursary

Aimed at assisting South African matriculants and first or second year tertiary students
Fields of Study

University Undergraduate

• BSc Engineering Electronic / Electrical (Light Current)
• B Engineering Electronic / Electrical (Light Current)
• BSc Computer Engineering
• BSc Computer Science / Information Technology

Academic Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) certificate: Mathematics and Science Higher Grade minimum C symbol (60%), an aggregate C (60%) and a pass in English
First or Second year tertiary students: Majors and overall average minimum 60% and no failed courses

Technikon

• ND Electrical Engineering (Light Current)
• ND Computer Systems Engineering
• ND Information Technology (Technical)

Academic Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) certificate: Mathematics and Science Higher Grade minimum D symbol (50%), an aggregate D (50%) and a pass in English
S1 or S2 / First or Second year tertiary students: Majors and overall average minimum 60% and no failed courses
Technical College

National Diploma Electrical Engineering (Light Current)

Academic Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) certificate: Mathematics and Science Standard Grade minimum D symbol (50%), an aggregate D (50%) and a pass in English
N4 or N5 tertiary students: Majors and overall average minimum 60% and no failed courses

School Grant Opportunity

The aim of the School Grant is to promote competency in mathematics and science for scholars at high schools, especially in the rural areas
Aimed at assisting South African learners from low income families (Joint household income of less than R120 000.00 per annum)
Telkom offers School Grants to scholars for grade 10, 11 or 12 on an annual basis at public schools ( No private schools )

School Grant Package

• Registration and Tuition fees
• Book Allowance
• Residence fees (where applicable)
• Extra tuition (where applicable)

Academic Requirements

Mathematics and Science Higher Grade minimum C symbol (60%) and a pass in English

How to Apply?

Application forms can be collected from your nearest Telkom Centre for Learning & Organisational Capacity (CFL & OC)
Attach certified copies of your final matric or tertiary results to the application form
Fully completed application forms must be posted to the addresses appearing on the application form or delivered to one of the following addresses:
