Bonko Khoza’s Wife Lesego Shares A Cool Fact About Him. Bonko Khozaa doesn’t really share much information about himself on social media. Thanks to his wife Lesego Khoza, bit by bit we continue to know him better.

The award winning actor is well known fo his role as Mqhele Zulu on the record-breaking Showmax series The Wife, inspired by Dudu Busani-Dube’s best-selling novel series Hlomu the Wife, Zandile the Resolute, and Naledi His Love. Since playing lead in the series, Bonko has been receiving praises for his impressive multi-dimensional acting skills. Although he did not return for season, as the original Mqhele, he left quite a mark.

One of his major talents though is being a voice-over artist. He has a fantastic voice that can change when he feels like it. He can change his voice and even names the different voices he can speak, for example, his coconut voice. Bonko has thus worked with DSTV, Dischem Pharmacies, Vodacom, and Nedbank.

Over the weekend he got another major gig at the South African Film and Television awards. His voice was among the ones viewers and the audience enjoyed during the show. The revelation about the gig was made by his supportive wife, Lesego.

“Did ya’ll know that my Boo @bonkokhoza is one of the voices for the #saftas,” Lesego said.

Bonko started using his voice at the University of Johannesburg, where he worked as a presenter. Even after he left UJ as a student, he remained the school’s radio presenter for their graveyard shift for four years. When Bonko wasn’t on the radio, he used to work as an MC at Makro. Believe it or not, he was the guy, on the microphone telling people what they can buy in the store. This one experience crafted something inside him.

He then started booking voice-over gigs, which helped sustain him throughout his drama school years. Bonko has grown as a voice-over artist, and is among the booked and busy in the industry. His deep voice, command of the English language, has made him a favorite to use among major brands.
