Shauwn Mkhize Hints A New Acting Gig In A Hit Telenovela. Since her successful reality show Kwa MamMkhize, she has been taking the industry by storm. Shauwn Mkhize, recently wrote a book, bags TV shows, gets nominated for major awards, attends major red carpet events, is a fashionista, and her social media following grows by the minute, among other cool achievements.
Mam’Mkhize, as she is affectionately called, is also an actress of note. She made her acting debut two years ago, with a cameo appearance on SABC’s most watched show, Uzalo. Although at first some people complained about opportunities being given to only well off and famous people, they eventually warmed up to her, as her acting was good.
A couple of months back, it was reported that she has scored herself another acting gig. This time Mam’Mkhizwe was linked to new Mzansi Magic telenovela, Umkhokha. The flamboyant businesswoman, reality show star, author and socialite, however stated that, it was not happening. Speaking to TshisaLIVE, she revealed that yes a discussion was had with Umkhokha producers but the timing was wrong. The reason was because she was busy with buying her football team, Royal AM at the time she spoke to the producers of the soapie.
Well, it seems like an opportunity has presented itself. Mam’Mkhize has just shared a video of herself having fun in the Umkhokha set. She can be seen in the wardrobe department trying out some dope outfits. Without saying much, she revealed something is loading, and tagged the telenovela. We can’t wait to see what’s cooking.
