Is Noeleen’s 3Talk Coming To An End?

Word on the street is that, the only daytime talk show in SA has been canned and will stop airing in April after 13 years of airing. There has been a lot of speculation on why it has been decided to stop the show, with some claiming it’s because of the low ratings and other sources saying Noeleen is now tired.

It’s been said that the show hasn’t been picking up on ratings with the top spot on being taken by Khanyi Mbau’s show on the rival network e.TV. Noeleen’s habit of bringing back the same guests over and over has also been another issue. Other sources claim that the show wasn’t cancelled but it was Noeleen’s decision to leave the show after 13 years because she’s tired of the daily grind.

We wonder if this is really it, considering the production once shut down early 2014 and they had to repeat old episodes of the show. The channel didn’t put out a statement to say what was going on behind the scenes. It then re-aired in April.

Neither the SABC people nor Noeleen have come out to say what’s going on behind the scenes, but it won’t be long till we find out. Noeleen has continued to tweet about the upcoming guests but has remained mum on the cancellation issue.
