Watch! A Beautiful Memory of Pearl Shongwe and DJ Sumbody Having a Great Time. One way to deal with a person’s passing is to celebrate the life that they lived. As difficult as it is, seeing how happy the person was before they passed on brings some sort of comfort.

In a space of a week, we lost some of the most talented personalities in our entertainment industry. The country is still shocked at the untimely passing away of Pearl Shongwe, a week ago. The media personality and former beauty queen died in her sleep at her apartment in Waterfall, she was discovered lying face down in her bed by her neighbors.

This past Sunday, just a day after Pearl’s funeral, we lost 38 year old DJ Sumbody. Real name, Oupa John Sefoka, the veteran local Amapiano artist and businessman was gunned down at the corner of Woodmead Drive and Woodland Drive, on his way from a gig. DJ Sumbody popularly known for his hit singles “Ayepyep” and “Monate Mpolaye”, and his death has been a great loss for the entertainment industry. \

As expected Pearl and DJ Sumbody’s paths have crossed. Mo Flava who worked with Pearl on his breakfast show on Metro, has shared a video in which they interviewed DJ Sumbody. Pearl could not help but laugh at the jokes that DJ Sumbody shared during the interview. It was clear that the two clicked, and had a great vibe.
