Top 10 International Artists Who Will Be Performing In SA This Year

It looks like this year is going to be one of the best years in concerts for South Africa. With International stars you can’t avoid gracing the country, it’s going to be hard to choose on which ones to attend. Maybe the deciding factor for you will be which music you prefer and it seems everyone is covered from modern Jazz , Rock , Hip Hop and RnB.

Here’s the top acts which are set to be in South Africa this year.

1.One Republic
Ryan Tedder is back with his boys for what seems to be another spectacular show. Not new to the country, the band is back with their ‘Native’ world tour and will be rocking the stage. Catch them at The Coca-Cola Dome, Johannesburg And Reef , and at the Grand Arena, Grand West, Cape Town rocking out their hits like ‘apologize’, ‘good life’ and lately ‘counting stars’.

2. Michael Buble`
The amazingly charming Michal Buble` is back in South Africa in March for four shows across the country. With a long list of hits including “home”, “everything”, “haven’t met you yet”, the multi-Grammy winner is bound to give an excellent performance.

3. The Script
The Script are back again to promote their new album, “No sound without silence” which includes their chat topping “superheroes”. Expect a lot of hits from this Irish band including “hall of fame”, “the man who can’t be moved”, “nothing” and “breakeven”.

4. James Blunt
James Blunt is back to perform in South Africa on the 12th, 14th, 15 of February. In Cape Town and Joburg as part of his Moon Landing tour. The British singer who rose to fame with his debut album “back to Bedlum ” is back to promote his latest forth album “moon landing” with chart climbing hits like “postcards “and “bornfire heart” expect a fun night with this Grammy nominated singer. Tickets are R455-R625.

5. Chris Brown
If you are fan of Chris Brown, you definitely don’t want to miss out on this.   This talented hit-maker is coming to South Africa and he is to perform at the Coca- Cola Dome in Johannesburg on the on the 2nd of April 2015.

6. Passenger
Mike Rosenberg famously known as Passenger will be performing as part of the Kirstenbosch Summer Concert Series in Cape Town, at Zoo Lake in Johannesburg, and at the Durban Botanical Gardens. It will be a tour for his hot on the heels of his sold out European tour as part of his 3concert- tour.

7. Jason Mraz and Raining Jane

Jason Mraz is just plain pleasing to listen to. This is the very first time that this American artists will be touring to our shores, and his bringing special guest Raining Jane along. Mraz has won two Grammy Awards, two Teen Choice Awards, aPeople’s Choice Award and the Hal David Songwriters Hall of Fame Award. He has earned platinum and multi-platinum certifications in over 20 countries.

8. August Alsina

New Orlean’s Hip-Hop singing sensation August Alsina will support Chris Brwon when “Breezy” performs at the Coca-Cola Dome, Johannesburg on Thursday, 2 April 2015 as well as at the Moses Mabhida People’s Park, Durban on Saturday, 4 April 2015 as part of the world wide Chris Brown X Tour Live.   This is the first time that August Alsina will perform in this country.

9. One Direction
The Irish boy band is back to perform in South Africa. They will be in Johannesburg at the FNB stadium and Cape Town stadium.  Unfortunately, the tickets are already sold out. This boy band obviously has the most supportive fans.

Ben Howard will be performing in South Africa. This rising star who has had success with his singles “the wolves” and recently “keep your head up” is a favorite in South Africa,  so make sure you get your ticket.
