The Creative Genius That Is Lil Wayne

He might be going through some legal mess right now and whether the album comes out now or later it doesn’t take away the fact that Lil Wayne is great at what he does. That’s why we understand how frustrated he is about his delayed album. Everyone is sensitive about things they are passionate about, so if he wants to sue his mentor for contract violation, please allow. It’s been weeks since Lil Wayne and Birdman have been trying to come to an agreement but if Lil Wayne gets his wish and be let off the deal, here are reasons why this won’t affect or kill the Grammy winning rapper.

After being signed at the age of 12 to the Cash Money record label and joining the group Hot Boys, Lil Wayne wasted no time and earned his first number one on the hip-hop & R&B charts. He began his solo career with “tha black is hot” album which debuted at number 1 on the billboards chart. He later found the young money record label in which Drake and Nicki Minaj are signed to.

Despite all the dram and controversy around his personal life, his success hasn’t faltered. With the success of his following albums with the sixth album having the most Grammy nominations, he has also shown versatility by coming out with a rock album. He earned his first and only number one top 200 as a solo artist with lollipop and number one album with the carterIII.

His documentary film “tha Carter “debut at the Sundance film festival in 2009 and with so many collaborations under his belt including Bruno Mars, Eminem, Ludacris to name just a few, he has earned so much respect in the music industry and some even call him the best rapper to ever live. He has become a staple in American music and will remain there. All this also translate into some hard core cash, the rapper is estimated to be worth $140million.

So we think Lil Wayne has earned the rights to say when he wants to put out an album, Birdman should just focus on making cameos in Lil Wayne’s videos because that’s what he does best.
