Connie Ferguson Gushes Over Her Daughter Ali Acing Her Matric. The pride of any parent is to see their child do well at everything they venture in. As soon at the 2020 matric results were released, so many parents could not wait to see how their children fared. What a relief it must have been for parents and students alike when it was announced that the Independent Examinations Board class of 2020 registered a pass rate of 98.07%!
Among the parents who are overjoyed is Connie Ferguson. Her second born daughter, Ali Ferguson sat for her matric final examinations in 2020, and her results are out. The award winning actress, producer and entrepreneur, didn’t reveal how her daughter did, but by the look of things, Ali aced her exams. Connie took to her social media platforms, to say how proud she is of her daughter. Not only is Ali the coolest dancer around, she is also gifted academically.

A little over 12,000 full-time candidates and about 1,100 part-time candidates sat for the independent exams. It is quite commendable, how they did, looking at the fact that in 2020, schooling was hugely affected by the national lockdown. Congratulation to Ali, and all her peers who did so well on their examinations.
For those students who sat for the 2020 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination, their results will be released at the different schools at 08:00 on Tuesday, 23 February 2021. These results will be made available to the media houses and Service Providers on Monday, 22 February 2021, at 07:00.
The publication of results will be embargoed until 06:00 on Tuesday, 23 February 2021 for all PEDs results, except in the Western Cape. The Western Cape data will be released to the media houses and Service Providers on Tuesday, 23 February 2021 at 12:00. All the best to 2020 National Senior Certificate class for next week.
