Crazy Comedy and hilarious happenings on Girl Meets World set!
You’ll be meeting the amazing cast of Disney Channel’s newest hot series, Girl Meets World, this November. As much as the show will entertain you every Saturday morning, there are some hilarious antics of what goes on behind the scenes!
And we have the exclusive scoop as Rowan Blanchard and the some of the crazy cast relive their funniest memories from the filming of the hilarious new show …
PESKY PRANKERS!
Rowan Blanchard (Riley): “I’m the biggest prankster on the set of Girl Meets World. You would never guess it, but I’ve done loads of pranks and they always get people laughing. My favourite pranks are when you ‘TP’ someone’s room. ‘TP’ stands for toilet paper, so you cover their room in clean toilet roll. It’s hilarious! I’ve done it to Ben Savage’s dressing room twice already.”
ROWAN’S KLUTZY CONFESSION!
Rowan Blanchard (Riley): “Nobody is as klutzy as me on the set of Girl Meets World. I’m the klutziest person around! You know how some people trip when they walk downstairs? Well, I managed to trip going up the stairs on a daily basis. I don’t know how I do it, but I manage to do it every single day!”
THE NAME GAME!
Ben Savange (Cory): “There are lots of giggles on the set of Girl Meets World because we’re a fun-natured group. Every now and then, I seem to mess up the character’s names in front of the live studio audience. I’ll call a character by the actor’s name in the middle of the take, so we’ll have to stop rolling and start the scene again. The audience has a ball watching me mess up. It’s very embarrassing!”
FLUFF YOUR LINES!
Rowan Blanchard (Riley): “Sabrina Carpenter [who plays Maya in the show] has had some really funny line blunders on the set. Sometimes, she’ll be in the middle of a line and she’ll completely forget what to say. Whenever that happens, she’ll just go, ‘Blah, blah, blah, blah!’ It always makes me giggle.”
GIANT GOOFBALLS!
Sabrina Carpenter (Maya): “When the cameras stop rolling, we’re complete goofballs. We love to sing, dance and play around. We’re always making jokes and getting the giggles. The laughter never stops!”
THE PRANKING PAIR!
Ben Savage (Cory): “Rowan and Sabrina are always playing tricks on me. They are complete pranksters! When I got to the set on Valentine’s Day, my dressing room door had been completely covered in little pictures with random quotes on them. It was hilarious! I’m always thinking, ‘What are they going to do next?’ They always surprise me.”
Girl Meets World is set in New York City, and tells the wonderfully funny, heartfelt stories that “Boy Meets World” is renowned for – only this time from a girl’s perspective – as the curious and bright 7th grader Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her quick-witted BFF Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) embark on an unforgettable middle school experience.
