Introduction
Transnet Freight Rail is looking for a permanent Technical Worker (Wagons) in Ermelo, Mpumalanga. Applications are invited from suitable candidates to transfer/appointment to this position. The incumbent will be employed in Locomotive depot at Ermelo (Ref No. 50005598)
Position outputs:
• Scheduled and Unscheduled platform work
• Scheduled and Unscheduled maintenance and shedding work
• Assist Artisans in all aspect of related duties
• Operated cranes
• Tool store and related issues
• Documentation per work completion
• Housekeeping
Qualifications & Experience:
• Grade 10/Std 8 school certificate is required
Knowledge:
• Locomotive maintenance plant
• Safe working procedures
• Scheduled programs
• Housekeeping
