To help us drive our success into the future, we are looking for an experienced DW Data Acquisition Specialist- ETL Developer to join our dedicated team at our Johannesburg offices. Standard Bank is a leading African banking group focused on emerging markets globally. Manages the ETL tasks of the team that is responsible for development and enhancements to Backend designs ensuring end to end development. Also responsible for communication between front end developers and back end Warehouse developers and Architects. Also responsible for quality assurance of ETL extracts. Provide best practices to design, develop and enhance the back-end of the EIW to satisfy specified and agreed user requirements in conformance with standards, time and cost parameters agreed for each project/request.
Preferred Qualification and Experience:
• Minimum Matric with 5-10 years IT experience
• General Microsoft literacy
• In depth nowledge of ETL tools
• 5+ years DataStage experience (Enterprise Edition v 8.5 preferably experience will be an advantage)
• Data, Systems and Business knowledge
• Analysis
• Data Modelling and Design (FSLDM)
• Structured Programming
• FAIS compliant – Yes
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise:
• Minimum Matric with at 5-10 years IT experience

• Rdbms modelling skills
• Gognos/Business object/Click View (Advantage)/OLAP
• SAS (Optional)
• TWS scheduling (Advantage)
• Mainframe(Advantage)
• SybaseIQ (Advantage)
• MQFTE(Advantage)
• Connect Direct(Advantage)
• UNIX Experience (Entry Level)
• ETL + MODEL Design Experience
• Knowledge of process flows and source-to-target mappings
• Skill in analyzing requirements
