Anglo American Platinum is offering 5 Psychometric Internship opportuniities.
Work Description:
To conduct psychometric assessment in accordance with HPCSA standards and ensure that assessments are performed accurately and ethically as part of an Intern programme for psychometrists.
Technical work responsibilities:
• The incumbent will be offered exposure to meet the needs of the psychometric internship programme stipulated by the University. The period of the internship is 3 months and can be renewed. The key activities will include amongst others:
• Co-ordinate the assessments of candidates for selection and development purposes
• Conduct assessments, write reports and provide feedback under the supervision of a Psychologist
• Understand and apply relevant legislation related to assessment and selection
• Provide regular information to all stakeholders regarding use and trends specific to the assessment
• Prepare monthly assessment reports for management
• Update the assessment records and ensure safe storage of the material
• Perform ad-hoc duties as requested by the manager
Required abilities:
• Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology / Psychology
• Registered with the University and the HPCSA as a Psychometrist Intern
• Driver’s Licence: Code B (Light vehicle)
Knowledge:
• Psychological assessment tools and systems
• A working knowledge of relevant legislation
Skills:
• Computer Literacy: MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Language Proficiency: English language and any local language/s as deemed appropriate for the position
