Video Producer Opportunity At TQManagement and Production Services

We require a proposal and budget estimate to produce comedy clips (short skits or pranks), to play on our digital screens in the banking environment. This serves as a “queue breaker” in an environment where clients form queues to wait for specific services. We will also consider commissioning existing content that meets the requirements below. A sample with a watermark must be sent for consideration.

Scope

• Must produce 10 short clips similar to the comedy clips on DSTV and airlines
• Must be child friendly (any harmful or offensive content will not be accepted)
• Content must be 100% South African and appeal to an this market
• Must contain a diversity of race, age and gender (on-screen artists)
• Content must be contemporary
• Must not contain any branded props or any other advertisement – no third party advertising allowed
• The licence fee must include the exclusive right to use this material in South Africa within a financial institution
• Should the material be considered for other African territories, a separate license fee will be negotiated
• The licence fee should also include all production costs and usage rights for actors, artwork, music etc.
• Legal documentation/proof of rights must be provided to substantiate usage rights
• Videos must work well with and without audio (this means that clips may have to be subtitled)
• Video must be visually strong
• Must not exceed one minute

Videos must be delivered in the following format for broadcast:

• H.264 Codec
• “720p”  1280 x 720 square pixels – (actual size)
• Best quality
• Video to start at least 24 frames before first audio – but ideally have motivated visual intro of at least three seconds
• Video to end at least 24 frames after last audio – ideally motivated visual outro of at least three seconds
• Don’t start with a fade up from black or end with a fade down to black, hard cuts only
