Girl Meets World is here!
It’s here at last! After months of waiting, fans can finally see new series Girl Meets World, every Saturday on Disney Channel from 15 November at 09.45am.
Twenty years ago Boy Meets World was an iconic hit series, still fondly remembered by its many fans. Childhood high school sweethearts Cory and Topanga, stars of the original series, are now married, and it’s their daughter Riley who is experiencing the trials and tribulations of teenage life. With her quick-witted BFF Maya, Riley embarks on an unforgettable middle school experience.
We went undercover and found out some secret facts from the new series…
THE ACTORS HANG OUT TOGETHER WHEN THEY’RE NOT WORKING!
Peyton Meyer [who plays Lucas in the show] admits: “Everyone in the cast gets along really well. Behind the scenes, we’re always hanging out. Every Friday, we go out to eat together, or we’ll go bowling – or we’ll go and watch a movie as a cast. We always have a blast! Even on set, we’ll have lunch together or we’ll have a game of basketball. Who’s the best basketball player in the cast? This is going to sound like I’m bragging, but it’s definitely me!”
SABRINA CARPENTER HAS THE PARTY DRESSING ROOM!
Sabrina Carpenter explains: “Everyone in the cast has their own dressing room, which is where we go to relax when we’re not working. We’ve all personalised our dressing rooms, but I’ve got the party dressing room where everyone hangs out the most. I think a lot of people come to my room because I have candy in there. The sweets attract them!”
THE GIRL MEETS WORLD CAST IS VERY MUSICAL!
Sabrina Carpenter admits: “We’re big goofballs on the set of Girl Meets World – and we’re always singing. It’s a very musical cast! Rowan [who plays Riley in the show] and I are into classic rock, as well as artists like The Black Keys, Vampire Weekend and Lorde – but we’re always making up songs. We love to make up our own raps, too. Ben Savage is an awesome rapper!”
COREY AND SABRINA TAP DANCE BETWEEN TAKES!
Corey Fogelmanis explains: “Want to know a funny secret about the cast? Sabrina and I have a secret talent… We can both tap dance! I don’t think many people know about our tap dancing skills – but you’ll get to see them in an upcoming episode of the show. I do a little tap routine in the episode, which was really fun to shoot. Keep your eyes open for it!”
