“I Do Not Have A Facebook Account,” Kelly Khumalo Sets Things Straight

“I Do Not Have A Facebook Account,” Kelly Khumalo Sets Things Straight. Fakebook is full of accounts created using celebrity identities. Celebrities like Shauwn Mkhize, Candice Modiselle, Masasa Mbangeni, Duduzane Zuma, and many others constantly warn the public about fake Facebook accounts created using their identities.

These accounts have quite a following, as they share content every now and then. The content they share sometimes is quite controversial, and ends up making trending news. One personality who has dozens of Facebook accounts done under her name is Kelly Khumalo. Although many of them are obvious pseudo accounts, there are those which appear real. They are up to date with Kelly’s images, videos, gigs among other things.

One of the accounts trended after applauding Ronwen Williams. Williams is the man of the moment after showing his talent in the AFCON 2023 game against Cape Verde. The goalkeeper saved four penalties, making sure that Bafana Bafana proceeds to the semi-finals. He immediately became a trending topic, with everyone crediting him for the win.

A Facebook account using Kelly’s names also commended Williams, who got dubbed a national hero. The account posted Williams’ photo and captioned it “Hero’s“. The multi-award winning musician, actress and entrepreneur trended soon after that. Social media users told her to stay away from Williams.

Taking to Twitter and Instagram, Kelly made it clear that she is not on Facebook. This means that the congratulatory message was from a fake account.

“I DO NOT HAVE A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT! 👏🏽🐆🤴🏾,” Kelly said.
