10 Reasons Why Black Coffee’s Human Orchestra Is Super Cool

Black Coffee is at it again, setting the house music bar way too high for others to reach. The big man of house is big on being unique but who knew it would come down to using vocals instead of electronic instruments to play his music.

Black Coffee put together an Orchestra of 40 talented vocalists to help him share his love of music in a new way.

10 Reasons Why Black Coffee’s Human Orchestra Is Super Cool:

  1. The Orchestra includes 40 very talented vocalists that are from all over Africa.
  2. We thought The Soil was boss at the whole acoustic thing, Black Coffee’s Human Orchestra is The Soil with 40 voices, the take on House with just voices brings a whole new feel to House music.
  3. The Orchestra is focused on bringing people together through music more than anything else. Having a group of different personalities being a part of something new and unique to the music industry.
  4. The rendition of Rock My World done by the Orchestra is super unique and cool, recreating drums, bass and guitars using voices alone.
  5. Black Coffee’s Human Orchestra’ follows on from films including ‘Kilian Martin’s Carmen’, so Rock My World is not the only track they get right.
  6. They get to travel the world with Black Coffee and share their Music abilities and talents.
  7. The uniqueness of the Orchestra challenges DJ’s to come with a new and interesting way to share their music with people.
  8. The Orchestra has performed live at the Rhythm Festival and will be performing at more events in South Africa, it’s cool that their sharing their talent live and proving that its really them in that Ballentine’s video.
  9. The Ballatine’s global and local social media channels and Black Coffee’s nearly 1.5 million cumulative followers will be utilised to drive views and engagement with the film so one will be able to interact and suggest things to contribute to the Orchestra.
  10. The Orchestra has been featured in a video with famous skateboarder Kilian Martin.
