Introduction…
To provide an excellent quality service to customers in respect of passenger handling services. Performing a wide variety of duties at departures, boarding gates and arrivals; including the verification of travel document and assisting special need passengers and premier passengers within the airport environment

 

Minimum Requirements…
• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric)
• A tertiary qualification in Tourism Management will be advantageous
• Minimum of 1 year experience within airport operations environment specifically derived from customer service touch points
• Must have Airport Passenger Handling (APH), Part 382, LERAP, Human Factor, Safety Management Systems, Verification of Travel Documents, Dangerous Goods (DG), Airside and Altea Customer Management System

 

Job Specification…
• Correct charging of excess baggage
• Contribute towards cost reduction by performing role efficiently and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Promote SAA’s customer service principles through upholding a high standard of professionalism, efficiency, consistency and personalisation when dealing with customers

• Airport Operations SOPs
