Introduction

Nedbank is looking for a Property Valuations Graduate in Durban.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow their skills as a Property Valuer within a commercial property financing environment.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the accuracy, validity and reliability of commercial and industrial property valuations. Although the successful incumbent will be based primarily in the Valuations team, the programme will involve rotation through different areas of the business to gain invaluable experience that will lay the foundation for a future career in the property industry.

Key Performance Areas:

• Compile valuations of all types of properties for mortgage lending purposes, including insurance valuations, assessment of property risk and ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Attend site/technical meetings.
• Contribution to continuous improvement in methodology, quality & accuracy.
• Build and maintain client relationships (internal and external)
• Contribute to the success of valuations team.
• Assist valuations manager to manage projects and building disbursements, as necessary.

Requirements:

• National diploma in Property Valuations or B.Sc Hons degree in Real Estate, majoring in property valuations.
• Candidate Valuer (without restrictions) registered with SA council of Valuers.
• Post Honours registration with the council is also acceptable.
