Michelle Botes and Robert Whitehead Reunited in a New Netflix Film. We still remember the iconic pair from their roles on SABC3’s Isidingo. Robert Whitehead played arch-villain Barker Haines until 2017, whereas Michelle Botes, played the equally evil Cherel de Villiers.
Barker will go down history as one of the most well known television villains of our time. He was a ruthless businessman, who would do anything just to remain at the top. Just the mention of his name was enough to send chills down one’s spine. As for Cherel, among the most evil acts she did was marrying and killing Braam, wiping out an entire family, the Vorsters, drugging Len as well as her prison break in 2005 frustrating everyone who thought it was now over with her.
These two legends are back again, and this time will be working on the same show. Robert and Michelle are among the cast of upcoming Netflix drama, Jewell. The interesting drama tell the story of a white photographer, who, while visiting a massacre memorial, herself drawn to a local woman. But their romance stirs up painful memories of a shared past.
Among other great actors, the cast of Jewell boast, Connie Chiume, Nqobile Nunu Khumalo, Senzo Radebe, Lillian Dube, Sandile Mahlangu, Cindy Thando and Desmond Dube.
Jewell will premiere on the 8th of July 2022, only on Netflix.
