Vacancy: Motor Vehicle Estimator
| Overview | The Motor Assessor/ Motor Estimator contributes to the organisational goals by providing a fair, accurate, reasonable and timeous motor assessment or estimations to Telesures clients. |
| Duties & Responsibilities | Effectively deal with client complaints, including rectification, and act as a central point between service providers and clients •Provide all-round service at various locations / interaction points: drive-in centres, on the road, desktop digital assessments and “country trips” •Make fair, realistic and thorough assessments of damages and repair costs (“quantum”) in terms of motor vehicle accident claims •Conduct number of assessments according to daily dairy, in most efficient and cost-effective manner |
| Minimum Job Requirements | Level of Education: Essential: •Grade 10 (Standard 8) with Mechanical Engineering / Panel beating N2/ N3 level Desirable •Grade 12 (Standard 10) Experience: Essential: •2 – 4 years’ work experience in the following: •Workshop / Motor Industry experience •Frontline / client relationship experience in a panel beating environment •Practical panel beating experience •Assessing experience at a short term insurer Knowledge of: •Workshop processes •Estimation knowledge •Workshop experience in the motor industry •Abuntex / Audatex •Up to date knowledge of Abuntex / Audatex Skills: •Client relationship •Telephonic interaction •Basic numeracy •Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines •Basic PC literacy •Abuntex / Audatex |
