“AKA & Cassper Both Elevated Hip Hop & Deserve To Be Supported 100% Fully”- Says DJ Sbu

Hip Hop music has taken over Mzansi and why do we say so? You don’t have to be a hip hop artist to understand what the game is all about. What we know now is that AKA and Cassper Nyovest are ruling at the moment and competition is tough. So are you team AKA or team Cassper?

Fast forward to the good news- its a countdown and in just a couple of days, the Dome will be filled up with Casspers’ fans. Many SA celebs stepped up in support of this dream. DJ Sbu who’s one of the celebs had a few words to cough out off his chest explaining that supporting Casspers’ dream has got nothing to do with his hip hop allegiances.

He took to Instagram recently to tell his fans that Cassper’s project is not about taking sides in the beef between Cassper and AKA, but rather supporting local music.

“It is not whether you like AKA or dislike Cassper Nyovest,” Sbu wrote. “Both have elevated the game to the next level & deserve to be supported 100% fully. I’m a fan of both & I salute them for thinking big. They have made HIP HOP exciting again with their competitive lyrical prowess & winners attitude.”
