“This Is why I love what I do,” Siphesihle Ndaba Emotional On Meeting Excited Fans. One of the most beautiful things about being a public figure, is the power of influence that you have. So many people, more so young ones look up to you, and aspire to be you some day.

Siphesihle Ndaba, who is one of the most unproblematic celebrities here in South Africa is a role model to many. The award winning actress and influencer burst into the scene as one of the cast members of Gomora, a television drama series produced by Seriti Films. She plays the character of Mazet, a young woman who is surviving the streets of Alexandra, thanks to her street smart ways and the company she keeps.

In real life though Siphesihle is such a sweet soul. She interacts well with her fans, and poses with them for pictures if the opportunity arises. Recently Cee-Cee as she is affectionately called ran into some of her fans whilst at a stadium for a football game. Among those fans were two ladies in wheelchairs who told her that they love her character as Mazet on Gomora. The recent storyline of Mazet injured also touched them is it was relatable. Hearing all of this was such an out of body experience for Siphesihle.

“In that moment, the research, the prep and the long hours on set were all worth it. Yes, I cried,” she said.

In another beautiful incident still at the game, some young kids came up to Siphesihle for pictures. As they didn’t have phones with the, she did the most noble thing and used her phone for shooting. Now Siphesihle has shared the pictures on her social media accounts for the kids to see. How cute!
