Up-market and exclusive Wine Estate offering a formal, fine dining restaurant where emphasis is placed on sourcing the freshest local ingredients. Situated on a 200 hectare private farm, this hotel and restaurant takes guests back to the 18th century Cape colonies with all the elegance and natural beauty that the age had to offer. This award-winning establishment is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their dedicated team.
The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in the preparation of fine dining a la carte items for the estate’s formal restaurant. The position will involve moving from one kitchen section to another and requires flexibility and creativity. A minimum of 4 years culinary experience in similar fine dining establishments is essential, as are a driver’s license and vehicle. This up-market estate is looking for a passionate and eager chef who is comfortable working hospitality hours, able to cope under pressure and is up to date on the latest culinary trends.
