Mona Monyane Shares the Trailer of the New Netflix Drama She Stars In. She is back and we can’t wait to see her do what she does best. A month ago, Mona Monyane announced that she bagged a role in a upcoming Netflix drama, Wild is the Wind.
The talented actress has not been onscreen for some time now, and she was definitely being missed. The recently engaged Mona is so excited for this particular casting, and grateful for the team she works with. She did not say much about her role, which means we all have to watch the drama to meet the lady she plays.
“I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with such phenomenal talents. To be able to reconnect after almost a year has been INSANE. I look forward to the world seeing this production… not entirely sure if I’m ready but I’m definitely excited!” she wrote on Instagram.
In just two weeks time, we will all get to watch the much anticipated drama, which is based on social issues. The Netflix show tells the story of two corrupt police officers who are tasked to investigate the brutal murder of a young girl. During the investigations, tensions come to a head in their small, racially-segregated town, and the truth shock everybody.
Wild is the Wind stars renowned local actors Mothusi Magano, Frank Rautenbach and Chris Chameleon. It also boasts the likes of Mona Monyane, Deon Coetzee, Michelle Douglas, Brendon Daniels, Phoenix Baaitse, Campbell Meas, Nicola Hanekom, Louw Venter, Erica Wessels, Renate Stuurman, Izel Bezuidenhout and Nicolus Moitoi.
Wild is the Wind will premier on the 28th of October 2022 on Netflix.
