Vacancy: Club Travel Fares Consultant

Requirement Overview The main objective of this role is to provide Fares information, advice, data capturing and training for the consultants, whilst delivering service excellence and positively promoting the Company brand. This is achieved through exceeding expectations thereby creating long term relationships, fostering mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers and consultants the best deals most suited to their client’s needs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities • Answer telephone in 3 rings in a clear and friendly voice.
• Ensure all fares are captured into Fare Deal, from any paper deal and Travel Info
• Prioritise new fares, and load accordingly
• Ensure that ticketing are copied in with new fares
• Advise ticketing of any changes / new fares
• Ensure that an updated fares file is kept in the Fare Deal department.
• Ensure accurate filing of all contracts.
• Check Travel Info on a daily basis for new fares / updates.
• Answer fare queries and emails from consultants
• Assist with ticketing queries
• Provide Help Desk facility to the Club Group in terms airlines and fares.
• Testing of adhoc technical applications when required.
• Liaise with our Global partners and assist where necessary.
• Check quotes submitted to Fares and Routing Specialist and offer suggestions/alternatives
• Search for the best possible options including price and routing as well as availability
• Assist with training Ourweb & Faredeal / Dynamic packaging and Advanced fares (in time)
• Remain flexible to the wider business needs of the company by rendering assistance for ad hoc projects and duties as required.
Skills, Experience & Education • In depth International Fares knowledge
• Preferenbly training experience (but not essential)
• Good geography, fares and product knowledge is preferable.
• Attention to detail with a very high accuracy rate.
• Ability to meet and exceed deadlines and excel under pressure.
• Computer literate.
• Outgoing and approachable with excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate about travel and people.
• Ability to excel under pressure
• Excellent organisational skills
• Team player
• Willingness to learn
