Admin Clerk (30 Posts) – SAPS

Various positions exists in the following fields in all districts in Limpopo Province.

The generic minimum requirements applicable to all the posts are as follows:

• Display competency in the post-specific core functions

•Senior Certificate or at least an applicable completed SAQA-accredited NQF 4 qualification

• Fluent in at least two of the official languages, of which one must be English

• Be a South African citizen

• Must have no criminal record or pending criminal/departmental or civil cases

• Applicants will be subjected to a vetting process which will include security screening and fingerprint verification • Ability to render at least 10 years’ pensionable service

• 2 years’ appropriate/relevant experience in the core functions of the post will be an advantage

• The completion of an internship in the Public Service may serve as an advantage.

Secretary (Appointment will be made in terms of the Public Service Act, 1994, Act No 103 of 1994) Level of remuneration: Level 5 = R115 212 per annum is applicable to the post • Provincial Head: Organisational Development and Strategic Management (1 Post) (Ref. Lim21/01/2014) • Cluster Commander: Phalaborwa Cluster Commander (1 Post) (Ref. Lim22/01/2014)

Core functions:

• Render administrative services to the manager

• Manage the diary of the manager

• Plan and organise office administration

• Make travel and accommodation arrangements

• Arrange and coordinate meetings

• Handle correspondence.

 

How to apply

• Only the official application form which will be available at all HRM Sections at Police Stations within Limpopo Province will be accepted. All instructions on the application form must be adhered to, failure to do so may result in the rejectionof the application

• The post particulars and reference number of the post must be correctly specified on the application form

• A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae must be submitted together with the application form

• Certified copies of an applicant’s ID document, motor vehicle driver’s licence (where applicable), all educational qualifications obtained together with academic records thereof and service certificates of previous employers stating the occupation, must also be submitted and attached to every application

• Applicants are requested to initial each and every page of the application form CV and annexures

• Applicants will be subjected to fingerprint screening

• Persons who retired from the Public Service by taking a severance package, early retirement or for medical reasons, as well as persons with previous convictions, are excluded

•Applications must be mailed timeously.

• If a candidate is short-listed, it can be expected of him/her to undergo a personal interview. Short-listed candidates may be subjected to security clearance
